Heligoland Trap. The Heligoland trap was finished in March 2006 and as end of 2007 some 1116 captures of 30 Species have been made including Mallard, Water Rail, Moorhen , Wren and Goldcrest.
The Coot Trap is not currently operational due to high water. The lake has a very high water level and it is not likely to get down to a usable level for some months.Tthe flightless period for Coot is around the end of June
